About Silver Essence Photography

Photographs are an expression. An art that expresses anything from joy and sadness, to light and inner emotions. A photograph can give life to things that may appear so small on a day to day basis. As a photographer, I aim to capture the true essence of the moment, the person, the feeling, the beauty, the love.

I enjoy all kinds of art, from photography, to collage. I like combining many art forms into my photography. Photo collage has been one area that has inspired my art. Silver Essence is not just about the perfect, most beautiful image. It's about you. I want to reveal you. I want to capture people in their own environments; in the places where they are the most comfortable and can truly be themselves. People tend to avoid the camera...(myself included). I want to be the quiet eye. I want to be the one behind the scenes capturing the things that might not normally be seen and put it all together into a piece of artwork that reveals you.

You are important. Your families, your jobs, and your lives are important. You want to capture the moments that mean the most to you. When schedules get crazy, it's often difficult to grab the camera and get the right pictures at the right moment. If it's a child's birthday party, a holiday gathering, a vacation, an advertisment, or a portrait, I want to do my best to give you the kind of photographs you will cherish forever. I want to photograph the way I would want to be photographed; with care, with precision, with thought, and with passion.
